1. Greetings

2. Ask students to find out what are in their schoolbags.

(設(shè)計意圖:通過實物展示的方式,可以讓學(xué)生更加直觀清晰得了解本節(jié)課要去學(xué)的內(nèi)容,而且能夠創(chuàng)設(shè)一個良好的英語學(xué)習(xí)氛圍,同時,也為學(xué)生融入英語課程做好準(zhǔn)備。)

Step 2 Pre-listening

1. Show the picture in 1a, and ask students to match the words with the things in the picture.

2. Ask students to look at the picture and try to recite the words in one minute, and then write down all the words they remember. At last, teacher will check and lead them to read the words.

(設(shè)計意圖:讓學(xué)生根據(jù)圖片內(nèi)容去找出對應(yīng)的單詞,更加生動形象,同時能夠加深他們的印象,為下文的聽力掃除單詞障礙。)

Step3 While-listening

1. Play the record for the first time, and circle the things Tom wants from his home.

2. Play the tape again, and ask students to listen carefully and try to find out where Tom’s things are and write them down.

For example, The English books are under the radio.

3. Play the tape for the last time, and ask students to read after the tape, and pay more attention to the pronunciation, and do the imitation.

(設(shè)計意圖:通過聽力練習(xí),鍛煉和培養(yǎng)學(xué)生捕捉大意和細(xì)節(jié)信息的能力,提高學(xué)生的聽力技能,同時通過跟讀和仿讀,提高學(xué)生的口語能力)

Step4 Post-listening

Students will be given 5mins to make a conversation of at least three things in Tom’s room. Later they will be invited to show their conversation.

The conversation can be like this:

—Where are the English books?

—They are under the radio.

(設(shè)計意圖:邀請學(xué)生進(jìn)行角色扮演,不僅能夠鍛煉學(xué)生的口語能力和應(yīng)用能力,也給學(xué)生提供了展現(xiàn)自己的舞臺,有助于提升學(xué)生的自信。)

Step 5 Summary and homework

Summary: Ask students to conclude what they have learned today together. And then make a summary.

Homework: Write a short passage about their rooms and try to use what they have learned in class.(設(shè)計意圖:在此環(huán)節(jié)中,請學(xué)生進(jìn)行總結(jié)不僅可以體現(xiàn)學(xué)生的主體地位,同時讓學(xué)生在體驗中,得到收獲知識的喜悅感和滿足感,此外作業(yè)的布置可以讓學(xué)生在課后進(jìn)一步鞏固所學(xué),體驗英語學(xué)習(xí)所帶來的樂趣。)
